All of my art is created in Photoshop Elements 7 and is made using personal photos, stock photos, copyfree and digital kit imagery. All sources will be noted in the post. Ancient (#9) and Reflections (#66)

This piece is entitled "Rosetta" for the (Ancient) theme at digital-whisper. The imagery used in this collage is from Dover, wikimedia, E-vint.com. Old text is derived from Hebrew, Egyptian and some Celtic sources. Reduced opacity and soft light filters were used for ageing effects.

This is my entry for the theme "Reflections". I found this beautiful image of a Heron on wikimedia and created the background from vintage botanical prints. Added oriental characters and elements from Finecrafted designs.

    Fabulous Lori..really soul stirring magic once again!! gorgeous!!The first one..she has a strong presence and is deep and soulful..and the second..feels very meditative and super symbolic...I love it!!

    OOHH!! Lori!! These works are so magical! I just love this way of doing a 'challenge'... I can work for as long as I want and do as many as I want.... with the inspiration of words and coming in to see just what everyone else is doing... just a great way to keep my hand in.
